About the Author
Jeff LeJeune grew up in small town USA in Jeanerette, LA and was heavily influenced by his years at Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin. He played basketball at McNeese State University until overcoming a deadly bacterial disease gave him reason to focus on other things in life, most importantly the gifts of storytelling and teaching. After teaching and coaching at two Catholic high schools for ten years, Jeff closed that chapter in his life and began writing more in earnest. This collection, along with the entries from 'Play on Andre' and his writing for DIG Magazine and other miscellaneous online sports sites, provides a glimpse into his most prolific writing period to date.

Le French Bread is a must read. The journey through the life of another human being. So brave and courageous to write about the struggles as well as the happiness of life. This book has definitely made me reflect on my own life and the way that we live our day to day lives. It has also made me realize that there are others out there who have many of the same struggles, doubts and misunderstanding about religion and just life in general. I will read this again because I am certain there are more great things in this book that I may have missed. Great job to Jeff for writing such an inspiring story. Thanks!

Nothing like anything I have ever read

This book deeply touched my heart and soul in so many ways. It is the most raw and real set of stories, and is nothing like anything I have ever read. It challenged me from page one to look deep within myself and decide if who I am is who I want to be. I cried. I laughed. I read and re-read. I reflected. Jeff laid it all out there...his own personal hell...nothing held back. I am forever changed by this book, and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for their own spiritual growth.

Great NATE study guide

This reference is a MUST for those studying for the NATE. It has clearly defined sections and lots of practice test questions.

Decent book. Some confusing errors.

The book has many questions, which are useful, but also quite a few mistakes and contradictions throughout. I am new to HVAC, and I find this book sometimes very confusing, because I read the information and remember it, then I go through the practice tests and answer them the way I remember them, then check my answers in the back and they are wrong. When I go back to read the material, my answer is right according to the study guide section but wrong according to the answers section.

For example, In the study guide, it says that an increased TXV bulb temperature & pressure at the evaporator outlet will open the TXV bulb. The Q&A section says that an increase in low-side pressure will close the TXV valve. I could be wrong but this seems like a total contradiction to me.

Also some discrepancies between the drawings and the text in the study guide make following along and learning the information confusing and difficult.

Overall, it is a decent book and I am learning from it, but I am not confident that what I am learning is correct. I really like the layout of the book I just wish it was more accurate & consistent.

Worked for my husband

I bought this book for my husband taking the Nate Core Certification test. He's an apprentice with a few years of experience, but this book helped him pass the exam. While the book has some practice questions, he said that the concepts and knowing how to apply them were what helped him get through the exam. Highly recommend this book.
