About the Author
William Eugene Blackstone (1841-1935) was a successful businessman and layman in the Methodist Episcopal Church. Converted at age eleven, he became an ardent student of the Word of God. His deep interest in world events led to his involvement in the Zionist movement to establish a Jewish state. Blackstone founded the Chicago Hebrew Mission in 1887 and was instrumental in the first conference of Jews and Christians in 1890. Jesus Is Coming, first published in 1878, was the result of Blackstone's dedicated study of prophecy. Widely circulated, Jesus Is Coming has been translated into 40 languages and over one million copies have been printed.

Thoughtful Analysis and Valuable Insight

Though written over a hundred years ago (written in 1908), Blackstone provides a thoughtful analysis of the second coming of Christ. Especially useful to me is the mapping and sequencing of events (in words and a diagram) from Christ's birth to rapture to revelation through the millennium until eternity. Throughout the book he references scipture to allow you to read the supporting verses and make your own judgment. I'd recommend this book to support bible study of the coming of Christ.

An Excellent Study

"Jesus is Coming" by W E B (W E Blackstone)is the book that convinced me, as a young pastor 50 years ago, that Jesus really is coming.
As no other book I have read,this is so convincing because the largest part of each page was composed of Scriptures supporting the author's words.
If you are in doubt about the reality of the Second Coming, or if you want to know the Biblical details of His appearing, this is the book you need to read.

Jesus is Coming

While a student in California Baptist Seminary, Los Angeles, CA. I was given this book, Jesus Is Coming by W.E. Blackstine. It suddenly became the most treasured book in my possession as a ministerial student. Though I believed in the Coming, this book cemented my belief and answered every question I ever had about the Coming of our Lord back to this earth for His church.
I treasured this one book as a young student until some one borrowed it and never returned it. I have log looked for a copy until it was suggested I try Amazon.Com. I have now ordered the book and long for it's arrival.
